About Me:

Caitlin is an NYC-based lyricist, librettist, playwright, and actor, originally hailing from the land of deep dish. Chicago still has a piece of her heart, and she’s happily able to work there as a local hire, but she’s loving this newest (yorkiest) chapter.

Writing credits include original musical short These Walls (Book & Lyrics, NYTF Winterfest – Best Short, Sound Bites Streaming Live, Sound Bites 7.0 Festival), full-length play Outbound (Redtwist Theatre – Workshop Production, In the Works ~ In The Woods Festival – Workshop/Staged Reading), and several percolating projects she can’t wait to share soon! She’s a lyricist and librettist in the Advanced BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, where she’s constantly inspired by her colleagues and collaborators.

As an actor, she has performed with many Chicago and Regional Theaters, received a Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Ensemble, been nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for Best Ensemble, was featured on NBC’s Chicago Fire, and Fox’s Empire, and can be seen in several independent films. She’s also had the pleasure of sharing her passion for the arts as a teaching artist and loves working with children.

Caitlin graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University with a BS in Theatre and a Music Theatre Certificate. Yes, there’s probably comedy to be mined in the term “BS in Theatre.” She’s grateful for the support of family and friends and excited for what’s next!
